Information - Please Read & Communicate
To Players & Parents
Schedule & Procedures – For

Sheet
• Contact players by May 15th, 2008 It is very
important to let them know that they are indeed on a
team. Parents and players panic if they are not notified
early.
• Team shirts are handed out May 20th, 2008
• T-shirts (Alterations of game shirt is not allowed)
altering a game shirt will not be tolerated.
? Goalie shall wear goalie shirt over regular jersey
• Addition to roster: Only the CMYSA Office can
make additions to the roster.
• Pre game check-in: 15 minutes prior to the start
of the game. Games will start on time.
• COACHES MUST WEAR THE COACHES ID (VISIBLE) BEFORE
GAME CHECK!
- Prior to the start of game coach distributes player
picture ID cards. All players must have an ID card to
play.
- Teams line up for referee check in – referee
takes the ID as player is checked in
- Referee returns ID cards to coach prior to Start of
the game
- COACHES are responsible for safe keeping of ID’s
for the season
- If coach forgets – no game
• Play Off Information and Schedules
will be distributed at a later date if they are not
in your coach’s manual on handout date.
• Equipment hand in will be on
two different days: JULY 31st and August 5th from 7:00
– 9:00 Whitney at Field #S . Contact your age
group commissioners if this is not convenient.
Fields
• Games will be scheduled on fields throughout
the area if needed.
• No climbing or horseplay on the goals or nets.
This is very dangerous and costly.
• Park and Recreation Department requests that
goalie boxes NOT be used during practices. This is to
insure that boxes are kept in the best conditions for
game play.
• Coaches are responsible for garbage around the
field should be cleaned up after every game or practice.
Players
• Yellow / Red Cards (review / know laws of the
game for fouls and misconduct) New ejection pink form
must be completed be fore ID card will be given back.
If you have questions call.
• Yellow Cards: a player receiving a yellow card
must leave the field. The player may return on the next
possession of their team.
• ID of the player receiving the “RED CARD”
will be retrieved by the referee and turned into the
referee coordinator
• It is the responsibility of the coach to retrieve
the ID card from the referee coordinator prior to players
next eligible game
• In appropriate behavior cards can be issued
to coaches, parents and spectators
• Jewelry / other restrictions (review / know
laws of the game for fouls and misconduct)
• No jewelry of any kind may be worn
• Players who refuse to remove jewelry will not
be allowed to play
• No hooded sweatshirts or headwear allowed.
